KenBanners-BT-049REPORTS: Rock Creek is beBopping around historical averages for stream flow these days the a current flow of 267 cfs. The entire creek is fishing pretty well although almost exclusively subsurface. You can smack a fatty here and there on top, but the surface victories are few and far between. Your best poison continues to be flashy slender mayfly type nymphs or pretty robust stonefly junk. Olive flashback p-tails in tandem with a red copper John in 12 and 14s are working as are peacock or black double beaded stones and big prince nymphs. A bit more of a warm-up and you'll begin seeing some consistent surface activity.HATCHES: midges
FLIES: Orange egg patterns, red San Juans, mayfly nymphs with some color/flash, muted but thicker bodied stonefly nymphs.OTHER INFO: March 1st will mark the beginning of our 17th year of business. Thank you Missoula for all the years of support!!
