You should have good fishing on the 'root today, with good trico/baetis action through the morning and hopper action in the afternoon. The trico eating fish on the lower river have started to get a little snotty, so sizing down may be the name of the game. Tails-up tricos, sunken spinners, midge clusters, and double wing spinners have fooled em for us. Hecuba have also started to show up. Brindle chutes, brindle para-wulffs, and parachute hare's ears should fit the bill. Higher on the river, hoppers, ants, and beetle patterns have been very effective. Have a good weekend!
