Blackfoot Fishing Report - 8/12
**Time to put the thermometer back in the fishing pack. Watch the afternoon water temp. We call it a day around the 70 degree mark. Keep em wet, use a net, size up in tippet, and get the fish in quickly. A few tips we recommend**
The Blackfoot is starting to clear up and the fishing is picking back up. Hoppers are fooling them again. Purple thunder thighs and purple bopper hoppers worked well for us. Pink was also getting it's fair share of action. Keep switching up the hopper colors till you figure out the flavor of the day. The Blackfoot should continue to clear up over the next day or two. Above Monture will be clear, but it will probably be busy. The off color water has provided some solid streamer opportunities too. Jig sparkle minnows, double fuegos, slum lords, silk kitties, and dirty hippies are what you want. Get it while it's good people.
