Rock Creek Fishing Report - 4/8
Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!!

Rock creek is an excellent bet for fishing today.  The fish have been eating March browns and skwalas mid day starting around noon and will continue to do so with the awesome weather forecast for today.  Low riding skwala patterns like an olive stimulator, window maker skwala, bullet head skwala and little olive stone will all work well for the skwalas.  For the March browns, a size 14 or 16 parachute adams, pheasant tail parachute or purple haze will all work well too.  If you head up early in the morning, using a dry/dropper combo as a starting set is a good idea until things warm up enough for the dry fly action to start.  Dark bodied double beaded stones, Pat's rubber legs or a pheasant tail are all good bets for a dropper.

FLIES: Smaller nymphs, small orange egg pattterns, red San Juans OTHER INFO:
