**Time to put the thermometer back in the fishing pack. Watch the afternoon water temp. We call it a day around the 70 degree mark. Keep em wet, use a net, size up in tippet, and get the fish in quickly. A few tips we recommend**

Rock Creek has been fishing really well since the hoppers and spruce moths have started to show up. They haven't been too picky either. Stimulators, chew toys, bopper hoppers, and elk hair caddis are ideal right now. Stubby chubbies, water walkers, fat Angie, fat Albert, panty dropper hoppers, Morrish hoppers, and summer stones have been the best for foam flies. Water temps are still in the " safe zone", but the mornings have definitely fished the best. You can still find fish looking for PMD's in the morning, but most won't resist the leggy-attractor pattern put on their nose. Terrestrials like, ant-acids, sparkle ants, super beetles, and para-ants are also in play. Sparkle minnows, slum lords, mojo minnows, and sculpzillas have been fooling the fatties on the lower end of the creek.
