Guided Float trips on the Missouri with The Kingfisher Fly Shop

**Time to put the thermometer back in the fishing pack. Watch the afternoon water temp. We call it a day around the 70 degree mark. Keep em wet, use a net, size up in tippet, and get the fish in quickly. A few tips we recommend**

Rock Creek fished really well through the latest weather system and is continuing to run clear. The creek continues to be one of the best mid-day fishing options in the Missoula area. Water temp is back down (for now!) to a reasonable level for afternoon fishing. Dry fly fishing has definitely picked up over the last week or so. Sweetgrass hoppers, hot spot para-wulffs, low-rider stones, plan B, stubby chubbies, and ext. body PMDs worked well for us. A couple of the shop staff dragged streamers during the rain storm and were pretty tickled with the results. A baby gonga, double fuego, or a dirty hippy swung trough the green trenches/buckets was the ticket. Get it while it's good people, looks like the heat wave will be returning this weekend.
