Moose hair is a very unique hair with interesting characteristics. Its more similar to a feather quill than other species of hair. Its hollow in the center, so it traps air for better flotation. The regular moose hair makes excellent tail fibers for mayfly patterns. Our moose fly tying material is of the highest quality.
