**Time to put the thermometer back in the fishing pack. Watch the afternoon water temp. We call it a day around the 70 degree mark. Keep em wet, use a net, size up in tippet, and get the fish in quickly. A few tips we recommend**

The Lower Clark Fork has provided some good terrestrial fishing, along with solid PMD fishing in the morning. Panty dropper hoppers, more - or - less hoppers, thunder thigh hoppers, purple chubbies, super beetles, ant acids, and sweetgrass hopppers have all worked well. Hoppers have been the ticket most days. Few spruce moths too. Dropping a prince nymph, CDC pheasant tail, MacGruber nymph, perdigons, or a purple prince will keep you busy through the mid day lull. Water temps have been up over 70 degrees, so plan on being off by 2pm. hit the river bright and early. Tricos have started to show up, but primarily on the lower end by Superior. Have a good weekend!
