If you run a tying club, teach tying classes at a public school or are a charitable organization reach out to us! We love seeing people learn this beautiful sport and having a hand in getting people started!
While there are many organizations out there, we highly recommend donating to these organizations as we have and continue to do. They all help people and or our fisheries directly. We are very proud to help them in the ways we can!

Fishing clubs
South Sound Fly Fishers - Olympia, WA
The guys over at South Sound Fly Fishers have one heck of a club. They contribute to conservation efforts, run youth initiatives, organize fly tying nights and have just generally created a community based on their passion for fly fishing.
We love to see it and jumped at the chance to help them update their fly tying vices and tools. If you have a minute check them out at https://southsoundflyfishers.org/about-ssff1/

Trout Unlimited
Trout Unlimited is an outstanding organization dedicated to a wide range of conservation projects, educational seminars, and programs for children. Over the years, we’ve proudly supported their mission through donations to numerous banquets, auctions, and youth initiatives.
Appalachian Outdoor Heroes
At Kingfisher Fly Shop, we believe the future of fly fishing depends on introducing the next generation to the sport and the outdoors.
We're proud to support Appalachian Outdoor Heroes in Caldwell, West Virginia, by donating fly tying vises for their youth fly tying classes. Their organization uses outdoor experiences, mentorship, and hands-on education to help young people build confidence, develop new skills, and form lasting connections with the natural world.
Seeing these vises in the hands of young fly tyers—and watching the excitement on their faces as they learn a new craft—is exactly why we love giving back. We appreciate the incredible work Appalachian Outdoor Heroes is doing and are honored to play a small part in helping inspire the next generation of anglers and conservationists.

Outside the fishing world
The Ronald McDonald House - RMHC programs and services help alleviate some financial burdens for families along their child’s healthcare journey. Last year alone, they helped families save $736 million in lodging and meal expenses. This incredible organization provides vital support by offering food and shelter to families in proximity to the clinics and care their children need. We have been a monthly donor to RMHC for many years.
Shriners Hospital - They offer personalized specialty care to children with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, burns and cleft lip and palate, regardless of their families’ ability to pay. An amazing facility that we proudly donate to every month.
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation - Today, RMEF is one of the most effective and efficient conservation organizations in the United States. Working together with members, volunteers and conservation partners, it is a strong voice for elk, elk country, hunters and public access as well as wildlife management and conservation issues. We have and continue to donate to this organization as well as volunteer for events in Missoula.
